Besides their majestic look and gorgeous fur, Maine coons are known for their playful nature, which makes them perfect pets, even for people with kids. Maine coons are the largest domestic cat breed and they can weight between 9 to 18 pounds, with some even exceeding those figures all the way up to 20 pounds.
